Event Navigation
Friday, October 2nd 10 am – 4 pm
Saturday, October 3rd 10 am – 3 pm
The 2020 Jewett Quilt Show, located at the Jewett Civic Center, promises eye catching quilt entries and fun shopping opportunities. Doors open at 10 am on Friday, October 2nd and close at 3 pm on Saturday, October 3rd. The cost is $5 per person, or $8 for a two-day pass.
In addition to more than 80 quilts entered in the Quilt Show, there are several quilt shops and other quilt related vendors that will provide you with plenty of opportunity to pick up just the right fabric, quilting tool, or gift item. An old-fashioned bed turning will take place throughout each day and you can participate in the Quilt Show Scavenger Hunt and the Quilter’s Patch Walk (think cake walk) for the opportunity to win prizes. Demos, tips, and tricks will be offered to all, and the always popular Quilter’s Basket Auction will raise money for local scholarships.
This year’s Challenge Quilt Category is Red, White, and Blue, so be prepared for amazing quilts and wall hangings with a Patriotic theme.
The Jewett Historical Museum and the Jewett Public Library will also be hosting the Family Heritage Quilt Show in conjunction with the Jewett Quilt Show. This show is included in the price of admission.
